Concerts

We have had some amazingly wonderful concerts at Aysgarth church  thanks to the Swaledale Festival and to the Wensleydale Concert Series (WCS). It is an honour to have so many world-class musicians performing at the church. 

Wensleydale Concert Series : 

 Saturday 18th July at 7.30pm at Aysgarth Church 
piano concert by Tyler Hay. Programme includes music by Chopin, Rubinstein and Liszt 

Saturday 22nd August at 7.30pm at Aysgarth Church

Ben Goldscheider  (horn) and Huw Watkins (piano) with music by  Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann, Dukas, Poulenc, Bozza and Watkins. 

Final WCS concert this year is on  Saturday 5th September  at 7.30pm at Aysgarth Church

Inez Karlsson (cello) and Ayaka Shingeno (piano). Music will include world premieres of two new works. The first by David Blake especially commissioned by Inez and the other by Cheryl Frances-Hoad. There will also be music by Boccherini, Dvorak and Brahms.
